ORA 07 COMING SOON IN MALAYSIA
It has been over a year since the launch of Ora Good Cat by Great Wall Motor Malaysia in December 2022. Great Wall Motor Malaysia recently provided a sneak peek of its upcoming model, Ora 07, through official social media and website announcements. Previously known as the Lightning Cat in China and the Grand Cat during its preview in Thailand, the Ora 07 is set to make its debut, with the anticipated launch date tentatively scheduled for the end of Q1 or early Q2 in 2024.
The Ora 07 is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the market, boasting enhanced features such as an extended driving range, improved performance, increased size, and a more dynamic and sporty appearance. The pricing of the Ora 07 is yet to be confirmed and is estimated to start from RM200,000. As per reference from our nearest neighbor in Thailand, the pricing of the Ora 07 electric vehicle (EV) starts at THB1,299,000 (approx. RM172,186) and tops out at THB1,499,000 (approx. RM198,697).
In Thailand, the Ora 07 offers two variants: Long Range (in grey or white) and Performance Range (with an added purple color). The Performance Range boasts 300kW power, 680Nm torque, and a max speed of 180km/h. The Long Range provides an impressive 640km range, while the Performance Range offers 550km due to its higher performance. These options cater to different preferences, emphasizing versatility in the electric vehicle market.
